My Key Issues
My Goals:
I plan to examine our budget and provide technologies and systems that can liberate our office from 1-step management and give employees ownership in our office and processes. I plan to inspire people to train others on how to assist across departments.
Fair and Equitable
Assessor's often run on 'Fair and Equitable' but not many add 'Challenge the County and State Norms'. I am a fighter and will fight to make sure everything is fair and just across our county.
Why I Am Better:
I have been physically measuring, touching, and valuing your individual properties. I have looked with my eyes, touched with my hands, looked at the exact markets that your properties are in. I have driven neighborhoods objectively trying to set some of the factors that end up being appealed on Residential and Commercial properties. This may have caused some disagreements but I am willing to own it or re-evaluate decisions I have made. I have looked through our literature in the Assessor's office where some of these data points come from and asked 'Why this way'. I will bring these archaic systems to the current age. I pride myself in doing the work that nobody sees or doesn't want to think about. I am willing to bring my appraisal experience to answer and solve the problems that we currently have. Your property is real to me and I intend to be a public face and an active part in keeping you informed here.
My Change:
When our whole office succeeds together, we win. When we are allowed to thrive, collaborate, learn from each other we can assist, help, educate the public more effectively. We don't need more automations to be authentic with the public, we only need our training and work experience to be our authentic selves with the public.
My Authenticity:
I was born and raised in Jefferson County. I have a passion for geography and applied that to my home county. I went to college and worked most of my time in Jeffco. I have the knowledge to assist in all capacities and don't have to fear to humbly ask someone if I do not. I own property here, explore and adventure here, and I know business owners here. I have a vested interest in Jefferson County. I AM JEFFCO.
